Feeding Instructions:

Higgins Protein Egg Food can be fed dry or moist.

DRY : Sprinkle approximately 2 tablespoons (1oz) per bird of Protein Egg Food over your bird’s existing regular dry food or serve in a separate treat cup.

MOIST : In a small cup, moisten approximately 2 tablespoons (1oz) per bird of Protein Egg Food with about a teaspoon of purified water or just enough to moisten the egg food. Feed in a separate treat cup. For added variety, you can mix in fresh, chopped, soft fruits or add Sunburst Leafy Greens & Herbs. Remove any uneaten food from your bird’s cage daily and discard.

Transition Instructions
While introducing a new food to your pet friend, gradually mix new food with your pet’s old diet. Increase the amount of food over a period of 7 to 10 days. This will allow your pet to adjust to the new food and it will prevent any upset to your pet’s digestive system.
