For ornithological breeding, germinated seeds represent
an excellent and important food to be given to subjects
in the reproductive period. They are very palatable and i

By assessing the need to limit these risks, the Laboratories
Pineta have formulated and developed a new product for
try to contain the microbial proliferation during the phases
of germination. PROTECTOR is a liquid which, added to the
germination solution, helps to inhibit the proliferation of
bacteria and fungi and to reduce the risk of food poisoning
in birds fed with treated seeds.
To confirm the effectiveness of PROTECTOR, Pineta made use of
of the collaboration of a team of veterinarians, in particular of the
Dr. Tiziano Iemmi, veterinarian working in the field
of avian medicine. The tests carried out have shown
the effective inhibitory activity of PROTECTOR on the bacterial flora
and fungal and have shown the usefulness to contain the
microbial proliferation in seeds in preparation if added
to the germination solution at a dose of 20ml / liter.
Similar results are obtained using PROTECTOR for
moisten the food.
