Endocox 2.5% Powder is highly effective against Coccidiosis/Atoxoplasmosis in ornamental birds.

Dose Rate
1 teaspoon (5g) per 1 gallon of drinking water for 3 consecutive days. Repeat in 6 days if necessary. Change water daily.
Prevention of Coccidiosis/Atoxoplasmosis
Preventative programs are recommended against Coccidiosis/Atoxoplasmosis because of the difficulties in curing these diseases. Control of Coccidiosis requires strict hygiene practices and regular treatments. Endocox Powder administered at a Prevention dose (.15g per 1gal) for three days every month prevents coccidiosis outbreaks in young bird and promotes immunity against re-infection. Endocox Powder is thus the medicine of choice to prevent Coccidiosis. This drug has little effect on already infected birds, but protects in-contact birds within three days.
Prevention for Breeding Birds
Endocox used as part of a pre-breeding cleansing program should help prevent both forms of coccidiosis. Other control options include withdrawing from breeding for a year and complete depopulation.
Prevention for Young Birds
Weaning and Juvenile birds are vulnerable to Coccidiosis because they have not yet developed immunity to this illness. You must carry out repeated preventive treatments with young birds.. Endocox Powder should be administered at High doses (5g per 1gal) for two days each week for four weeks. Then you should administer it in low doses (0.15 g per 2 gal) for five days when the hens are incubating eggs.
