NEKTON-TONIC-K consists of more than 60 individual substances which, when put together, result in a particularly well-balanced tonic and dietary supplement.
NEKTON-TONIC-K contains:
CARBOHYDRATES to give the basal metabolism added energy and boost activity. Proteins derived from the same plant material that the bird’s body is accustomed to in its natural habitat. Furthermore, 18 pure amino acids have been included to significantly enhance the nutritional value of the tonic.
ESSENTIAL FATTY ACIDS,which a bird’s organism definitely needs and which help prevent illnesses due to deficiencies.
VITAMINS AND PROVITAMINS, These are crucial organic substances that must be part of a bird’s diet to prevent severe and irreversible illnesses.
MINERALS AND TRACE ELEMENTS Even if a bird does not receive a sufficient supply of these vital substances regularly, its organism constantly secretes them all, so that any tonic has to have a high content of minerals and trace elements if it is to have any far-reaching effect. In this respect you can rely on
NEKTON-TONIC-K completely.
However, the value of this first-class tonic does not lie alone in the presence of all these essential components, but above all in their balance. NEKTON-TONIC-K with its well-balanced composition of just the right components guarantees you the perfect tonic for your kind of bird.
USAGE:
NEKTON-TONIC-K is water soluble in powder form. Given twice or three times a week either in water or over soft food in addition to the drinking water, it helps prevent illness due to eficiencies. In times of stress it is advisable, to add daily to counteract the effects of the moult, re-caging, shows or acclimation.
AS LIQUID ADDITIVE TO DIET
Dissolve 20 ml = 10g NEKTON-TONIC-K in 100 ml water (or 1 part TONIC-K to approx. 3 1/3 parts water to make a slurry) and serve in a bowl separate to seeds. When hand-raising young birds the solution can be fed into the beak by using an eyedropper or straight into the crop by means of a tube or needle. When birds are weaned at 10-15 days old, introduce some roughage like boiled rice into their diet.
Together with NEKTON-S enriched drinking water, administer the NEKTON-TONIC-K solution. In exceptional cases, for a maximum of three days, give only NEKTON-TONIC to ensure sufficient intake during high-stress periods.
If possible, please ensure that the drinking bowl or dispenser is completely sterile. If you use our disinfecting fluid, DESIPLUS, for feed and drinking dispensers, you have the guarantee that the solution will keep 24 hours. Otherwise only make up enough solution for 6 – 8 hours need.
ADDED TO FOOD
Sprinkle the NEKTON-TONIC-K powder over soft food (for nestlings, for example) or fruit. We recommend approx. 20 ml = 10 g NEKTON-TONIC-K to 100 g = 3½ oz food. Please make sure your bird has enough NEKTON-S-fortified drinking water at hand.
Important
Store in a cool, dark and dry place. In an unopened container and correctly stored the vitamins in NEKTON-TONIC-K remain effective until date of expiry, see extra label.
